About me

About me

Hi, I'm Chris. I am a passionate advocate for the environment and our collective ability to forge a better relationship with it. I am an Oxford University graduate and experienced sustainability consultant and sustainable finance practitioner. While I have supported some of the world's biggest companies to achieve their sustainability ambitions, my foundational interest is people. People are at the heart of every community, society and organisation, and trying to understand how they act and why they do so guides all the work that I do.

I am currently studying for an MSc in Climate Change, Development and Policy at the Institute of Development Studies, the Number 1 ranked global centre for development. My long term ambition is to move towards the sphere of international diplomacy, but I don't want to lose my focus on business and communities. I am therefore working as a freelance consultant alongside my Master's, offering specific expertise in Climate Strategy, ESG Reporting, and Communication and Behaviour Change. A full CV can be found below, and more information on the other tabs in this site. Please also see my blog on the homepage which I am rekindling three years after I covered the COP26 conference on the ground. If anything you see is of interest, I would love to hear from you.
